The new KYB GR2 strut is on the left, and the old stock strut is on the right. Note how the "at rest" position of the strut rod is different. The GR2 gas-charged strut fully extends at rest, while the stock strut actually contracts a little.
The KYB part numbers are 335015 (right) and 335016 (left)
